The Core Ensemble returns to Gannon’s campus with We Continue, a brand-new production that shares the stories of three inspiring Native American women: Sacagawea– the Shoshone woman who helped the Lewis & Clark expedition open up the American West Zitlaka-Sa– writer, educator, activist, musician, composer of the first opera by a Native American Wilma Mankiller – first woman Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation This dynamic performance blends music, theater, and history with works by Native American composers.
